7th Pink Caravan Ride Receives a Grand Welcome into Abu Dhabi by Mother of Giving Festival

The final phase of 7th Pink Caravan’s Ride’s (PCR) 10-day breast cancer campaign got off to an extraordinary start with a celebratory welcome into the capital city by General Women’s Union (GWU) at their Mother of Giving cultural festival last afternoon. The Abu Dhabi’s Mounted Police force escorted PCR into the beach in the backdrop of national tunes being played by the Abu Dhabi Police Band. Ambassadors’ wives from Sudan, United Kingdom, Djibouti, India, Sri Lanka, and representatives of international women’s organisations from across the globe were also present.

7th Pink Caravan Ride Arrives in Dubai

It was Day 7 of spreading breast cancer awareness for the horseback riders of Pink Caravan Ride, as they trotted into the UAE’s second largest emirate of Dubai. The pink brigade took off to a ceremonial start from The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MHoP), UAE, where the riders and volunteers were seen off in the presence of Reem BinKaram, Chairperson of the Pink Caravan’s Higher Organising Committee, and prominent MHoP officials.

The UAE’s Youngest Lot Comes Forward to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

A number of children this Friday (10 March) afternoon skipped the usual amusement parks, gaming arcades and malls to advocate for breast cancer awareness.
